DAY 18 (Friday July 6) Buffalo, WY to Gillette, WY: 72 miles, avg speed 18.2 mph. Today was a flat ride with most of the day on the Interstate (90), our only day on the interstate. We had some rolling hills and some head winds, otherwise it was an easy and fast day. We dodged road debris all day, and had one injury, as Kathy hit a piece of metal, fell and broke her shoulder. Not my favorite ride. Little scenery to speak of.
