DAY 3 (Tuesday June 19) Wenatchee WA to Coulee Dam. Finally great weather after 2 days (and nights in a tent) of rain. Dry night and days ride. Did 104 miles. First 40 in the desert, then a 5+ mile climb at 13% incline. A killer hill. then along a plateau, a few small climbs, then rolling hills, ending with a fast downhill that ended at Coulee Dam. What a sight. Pictures (the first Century of the ride): (1) starting in the desert - Ted from Texas, (2) completed 13% grade 5+mi climb with Erin from Seattle and Tim from the UK, Tim in this pic (3) into the plains - Gregg from CA, (4) some unique rocks in the middle of farmland, (5) ending at Coulee Dam.
