DAY 6 (Friday June 22 ride): Kellogg ID to Thompson Falls Montana:  70 mile ride, big ride up Thompson Pass - 17mile climb, up to 10% grade at times, mainly last 3 miles. Hit some hard rain and big headwinds up the mountain, tough ride, we where not ready for the cold and driving rain. Some used big plastic bags as jackets for the descend. GREAT fast descend after the summit.   1. To bad the scenery is boring. WOW one post card after another. Looks like a great time. Every painful up gives you a great decent. Looking forward to more.
