DAY 30 (Friday August 10th) Watertown, NY to Star Lake, NY: 62 miles. One small climb early in the day and a set of step-up climbs late in the day into Star Lake, one at 1.2 miles 14% grade. It rained the entire day today, very hard at times, so I took very few scenic photos> We did see very nice lakes, streams and creeks along the way. Star Lake is very remote. It only has one Inn/Restaurant/Bar in town...all the same place. There was no cell or wifi signal anywhere around town. Very nice people at the Bar, however. Pictures: (1) Dinner being prepared at the school the night before - Thursday in Watertown, (2) bikes, (3) also Thursday night, Anya one of three people being interviewed, as we were on the news that evening and Friday morning. People recognized us at a Coffee Bar the next day on our ride. (4) Tim gets a flat - Theo, Malcolm, Adam, Tim, (5) Water stop in the rain - Malcolm, David, Tim, Ross, Adam, (6-7) picnic in the rain, (8) view, (9) Star Lake, (10) too heavy of rain to set up my tent, so I slept inside on my last night of the trip
